Bio: Nadine Gilder



    Nadine lives in Toms River, New Jersey, and is the mother of an 18-year-old autistic child who has been on a gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free and reduced carbohydrate diet for twelve years. Through her company, Autism Educational Services, Nadine helps to educate parents of autistic children about the benefits of a gluten and casein-free diet, the Defeat Autism Now! Protocol, Mercury Chelation, yeast overgrowth, supplements, MTP therapy and other issues related to treatments and interventions.
   
    In the last 10 years Nadine has attended ten Defeat Autism Now! Conferences and has been listed on the Autism Research Institute's list of Defeat Autism Now! Practitioners. She has counseled hundreds of parents of autistic children on how to implement the gluten and casein-free diet and other dietary interventions. Nadine has worked with Defeat Autism Now! doctors nationwide. She has been noted in Jaquelyn McCandless book, Children With Starving Brains: A Medical Treatment Guide for Autism.
 










Nadine has researched and written GFCF Diet Secrets: The Passover Connection, because during the Jewish holiday of Passover a very large variety of foods become available for a short period of time. The book has a forward written by noted autism authority, Dr. Bernard Rimland, founder of the Autism Research Institute.

She has written two recipe booklets
called, Gluten and Casein-Free Cooking: Recipes for Everyday Favorites and 14 Easy Gluten and Casein-Free Recipes. She has also just produced a 30-minute audio CD entitled, How to Survive a Gluten and Casein-Free Diet which gives parents the basic information and motivation they need to get started.
